My neighborhood is home to more than 60 single family homes and the majority of my neighbors have expressed interest in moving to AT&T once fiber is ... My house is just past a 100+ house neighborhood. About 350 ft. The entire neighborhood has fiber and the line continues past my house for about mile before stopping. The closest house officially on my road and not in the neighborhood that has fiber is just on the other side of the entrance from me at 500 ft distance.chrismich. There is also a lot of back end work done in the offices to turn up Fiber equipment to feed neighborhoods. Once all work has been done by all work groups tasked with turning up your neighborhood, the engineer will green light your addresses and you will populate on uverse availability at att.com. Good luck.I think my neighborhood is finally getting fiber lines and I’m pretty sure the company doing it is att although there are no flags or company numbers on who is doing construction, but I found a cable in one of the holes they dug that says “Corning Optical Cable” and “CAT, with some numbers or something “ or something like that.Not all addresses will likely receive the service but your zip code is very high when compared to the overall average of 18%.
