Edit* I should add that it doesn't seem to matter what character you're on. My investigation one was for my warlock, yesterday I was playing wellspring on my titan and the pattern that dropped was for the Hunter glaive.

Maybe to make a quota, there will be a real niche class free exotic glaive down the line, but beyond fleshing out the elements, thats glaives. I dont see it being developed more.
